I Hate Progressives #21
Just a couple left in our evaluation of the Progressive Platform and they haven’t gotten one right yet. It’s all just pandering to the willfully ignorant and emotionally overwrought and that’s pretty much a hallmark of the political extremes on both sides. Maybe I’ll see if I can find a platform for the extreme right and do the same thing all over again because I’m sure they’re just as bad on some things.

If You Only React, Not Think, You’re in a Cult
This is one of those areas where I wish I could say “I told you so” but there’s nobody to really say it to. Recently, I put up a video on the channel that I knew would be unpopular with certain segments of the atheist community. I knew that at least some people would just freak out and, sadly, I wasn’t remotely mistaken.

I Hate Progressives #20
Now we’re down to the final stretch, the last section of the platform, which they call “ A commitment to sweeping, transformative change.” It’s only 4 points long, so this won’t take that long. We should be finished by next Monday. Mostly, I think we’re going to see, these are all areas they want to pander to, not that will be good for the nation as a whole because neither extreme cares about the nation. They just want to make everyone just like them. Hard pass on that.

This is probably going to be a quick one because I don’t think I have to say much about it. This comes from a video over on Paulogia’s channel, where Seth Andrews makes a point at the very beginning and then it launches into a discussion.
Unfortunately, if you just change “Christian Nationalist” to “progressive” in his statement, it still means the same thing. So this morning, someone posted on a woodworking forum on Reddit, asking about women and alphabet soup orientation woodworkers on YouTube.
I said what difference does it make? How does someone’s gender or sexual orientation alter the quality of the work that they do?

Insurance Needs to Die!
This is really just stupid. Last month, my oldest daughter turned 27. She doesn’t even live in the state and now, she’s too old to be on our insurance. Neither of my daughters live here, so my wife hopped on the insurance website to remove them both. It says on the website that removing beneficiaries will have no effect whatsoever on your coverage.
