I Hate Progressives Part 11

Now we’re on to the second part, which falls under “Tackling systems of oppression and dismantling structural racismĀ  and discrimination”. I’m willing to bet none of this remotely qualifies. This is a 4-part section so it will take just over a week to cover. Let’s get at it.

I’m taking this from The Progressive Promise, which is a platform statement from the House of Representatives. Unfortunately, like all platform statements, what it says doesn’t stand up in actual reality. Yes, I know that this is not what all progressives believe and that it is being stated in the most attractive way possible to attract people to vote for them, but still, this is why I cannot stand any of these positions.

Advancing racial justice and equity in every policy.

Isn’t that exactly the same thing that they already advanced? Looking back at the last point, it was “Advancing racial justice and equity.” They’re just repeating themselves. Typical.

Therefore, there isn’t a lot to add for this one. Fuck equity. If you want equality, great. I’m on board. If you want to shore up your pet minorities, which let’s be honest, that’s all that the left is doing, then screw you. They have no interest in equality. They just want to benefit the people who benefit them.

That’s one thing that they never want to talk about, right? This is all just pushing their own agendas so they get increased power. The people they want to benefit, on paper anyhow since they don’t really want to improve their lives, are the ones most likely to cast votes for the left. Buying votes anyone? I thought so.

I am not remotely interested in any political party benefiting directly by their policies. They exist to do good for everyone, not just the people on their side, but let’s be honest, the extremes are only interested in improving their own lot. Screw everyone else. So no, I’m not signing on for this one, any more than I did for the last. No equity. Equality. Anyone pushing for equity can go to hell.
