So today, I called and cancelled my Capital One Platinum card. Why? Because we don’t use it and they are charging me $5 a month for a card that hasn’t had a balance in years.
Now we’re on to the second part, which falls under “Tackling systems of oppression and dismantling structural racism and discrimination”. I’m willing to bet none of this remotely qualifies. This is a 4-part section so it will take just over a week to cover. Let’s get at it. Continue reading I Hate Progressives Part 11→
Here we go again. The list of reasons that I detest the progressive party line is never-ending, in fact, I can’t think of a single reason that I wholeheartedly agree with. Most of it is just mumbo jumbo nonsense, aimed at making the young and stupid feel good, because reality doesn’t matter to the far-left, any more than it matters to the far-right.
I caught this video over on Atheist Experience today, which is an old one where they’re desperately trying to attract people to the show, when the old ones were vastly superior. Never mention a better movie in your movie.
However, at one point early in the video, Matt talks about the superiority of secular moral systems that makes morality “objective”. He’s just wrong. Continue reading Matt is Still Wrong on Morality→
Why is it that the left (and to be fair, the right) say one thing but really support something different? If they actually were honest, nobody in their right mind would ever vote for them, which we’re going to look at today.
I’ve said before that I don’t care and I don’t. So here’s an example. My wife and I were just at the grocery store, picking up a couple of things. We got in the 15-or-less line and this bitch ahead of us had 47 things. She wasn’t even close. I saw the cashier’s screen when he was done. I know exactly what she had.
I muttered something to my wife and the lady turned around and was about to say something, but I gave her a look that made her shut up. The bitch was completely in the wrong. If she’d have opened her mouth, I would have let her have it with both barrels.
Let’s try another platform statement that I’m not really going to agree with. Some of these, I figure would be passable if the left actually meant what they said, but they don’t. Just like with religion, they’re lying to their converts for the votes and aren’t really serious about any of it. They don’t live in actual reality. So let’s take a look at part 8 and see where it fails. Continue reading I Hate Progressives Part 8→
We’re up to part 7 of this look at the Progressive platform, as defined by the far-left idiots on the House of Representatives. So far, I’ve detested every single one of them and this is no different. It’s not so much the idea on some, but how they want to carry it out.
I got “called out” on this a little bit ago, but I’m going to explain why I do it and why, at least in my opinion, they deserve it. You can tell me if you think that I’m in the wrong.
So any mailer that I get with a self-addressed, postage paid envelope inside, I put that envelope back out into the mail empty. It costs the sender money, which I figure they deserve, and they get nothing out of it. Why? Let me explain. Continue reading Costing Idiots Money→
Here goes part 6 for anyone who is keeping track. We’re just over half way through the first talking point and I haven’t seen one that I agreed with yet. It’s not enough to have a belief, you have to be able to support it with evidence and critical thinking and… yeah, both extremes are positively idiotic when it comes to their positions.
