Most Modern Kids are Dumb

This crap pops up in the weirdest places. There was a discussion in a video game forum about winding up with more money than you know what to do with and a couple of whining idiots popped up and cried “why does that never happen in the real world?”

It does. All the time, if you’re willing to work hard and make good decisions. But no…. they don’t want to hear that. They want all that success right now. They want it on a silver platter or it doesn’t happen!

It’s All About Responsibility

I’m writing this on Friday, right after Thanksgiving, as my brother-in-law and best friend, who came for dinner and stayed the night, have now returned home. After he got there, my friend called me to talk and let me know he made it home safely, as apparently, my brother-in-law, who drove up, drives like a maniac.

So it got around to talking about his money problems, especially the fact that, he’s blaming his bank for not taking the mortgage money on time, and by the time they do, he’s already spent it.

Not Impressed with the Millennial Mindset

I’ve been posting a lot lately over on my other blog about the “gimme money” aspect of a lot of hobbyists and it  goes beyond just collecting things. It seems like today, people can’t just collect things for the sake of collecting them, they have to do it to make a buck and that bugs me to no end.

It strikes me that much of this comes from the modern Millennial mindset because most of the people that I see pushing this thing in most hobbies, they tend to be very young.
