Really short post since I just got off the phone, but I was trying to make an appointment with an optometrist to get my eyes checked. My doctor makes me do it every year or so, but the optometrist that I usually use, the one that is usually at the medical group I go to, he retired so I had to find another one.
I went on an unintended trip down the proverbial rabbit hole today when a video showed up in my feed on “where woke people go wrong” or something like that. It dove into all the places that the political left take leave of their senses, which I wholeheartedly agree with, but at the very end, it said something about “the real place we get knowledge and morals is God!”
Yeah, you’re doing exactly what the people you criticizes are doing. What the hell else is new?
I know I’ve done this a million times, but it keeps coming up so I’ll keep pointing it out. The political left is doing EXACTLY what the religious are doing, yet they are completely blind to their own failures.
This time, we get a video from Atheist Experience, which I’ll link to below the fold. The caller claims that atheists are cherry picking, while doing nothing but cherry picking themselves, then the hosts start cherry picking too. It’s all absurd! Continue reading Here We Go Again!→
Once again, the idiocy of the left pokes its head up and shows just how irrational they are and unable to handle intelligent discussions. Over on a stamp collecting subreddit, someone posted that Trump was considering privatizing the Post Office because it isn’t making money.
I’m fine tipping, but honestly, this is getting out of control. Mywife and I went into a frozen yogurt shop that we’ve been going to for years, but now, they have a new register and it insists that you give tips to the cashier who does nothing but sit on a stool all day and collect money.
This will be a short one, being Thanksgiving and all, but it never ceases to amaze me just how dumb people are out in the real world. Quick example, coming up below the fold, but I don’t know how these people actually survive day-to-day thinking like this.
Looks like I made the right choice. A little while ago, I wrote a post about how I was dumping a bunch of YouTube channels that couldn’t keep politics out of their atheist content. It was one of the best decisions I ever could have made.
Occasionally I’ll see a headline scroll past that just makes me roll my eyes. Now granted, I didn’t read the article because I’m going to use it as a springboard for a discussion because I see this kind of thing all the bloody time.
I just saw a video over on Matt Dillahunty’s channel, which I’ll link to below, about a new “secular religion” called Mystrikism. He went through some of the stuff on their website, which I’ll also link to below, but I had a lot more to say on the subject.
Sometimes, I just stumble across things on YouTube and decide to write about them. This is one of those times. Honestly, I could make an entirely new YouTube channel just responding to these people, but I’m just going to do it here. At least this way, I don’t have to listen to them whine.
