Honestly, do you trust anyone in politics? I know I don’t and that comes from many decades of hard-won experience with the liars in public office. Trust me, I’m not defending the Republicans, I’m just pointing out why I don’t trust the Democrats and the farther to the left you go, the less I want anything to do with these idiots.
So let’s dive into part 19, because this is one more place that their lies are very, very apparent.
I’m taking this from The Progressive Promise, which is a platform statement from the House of Representatives. Unfortunately, like all platform statements, what it says doesn’t stand up in actual reality. Yes, I know that this is not what all progressives believe and that it is being stated in the most attractive way possible to attract people to vote for them, but still, this is why I cannot stand any of these positions.
Protecting the federal government’s role in delivering essential goods, taking on monopolies, and disciplining markets.
In other words, they want to make people more reliant on the government. Big surprise there.
Now maybe this is just my background as a small-government conservative, but the less government there is, the better. They should be handling essential services and duties and no more. Let’s be honest, no party cares about that anymore. They get fat and greedy and want more power over time and that is simply not how I want the country to run. Of course, who cares about me, right? Clearly not American politics.
Sorry, but I just don’t trust these people. They have proven, time and time again, that we can’t. They’re not trying to better life for your average American, they are trying to enrich themselves. This is not something that anyone should accept, but of the two major parties, guess which one wants to take over everything and tell everyone what to do?
Both, really, but the left are much worse at it. They want power and control and everyone to kiss their asses and that is something that I will never consent to.
If you look at some of the biggest monopolies out there, guess which way they lean politically? Hard left. Silicon Valley. Hard left. Disney. Hard left. In fact, most of Hollywood is hard left. So where are the Democrats controlling those monopolies?
They’re not.
That’s another reason why I don’t trust them farther than I can throw them, because they don’t practice what they preach. They’re fine with groups having too much power if those groups are funneling money in their direction or pushing their agenda. That’s what this is really all about, after all.
So again, hard pass. I don’t believe any of it. Show me a history of actually doing what you say you want to do and we’ll talk. Until then, take a hike.
