Welcome back to the next part of “I Hate Progressives!” The longer this series goes on, the more obvious it becomes to me that the far left has a ton of problems and is really, identical to the far-right. Both sides want control. Both sides want loyalty. Neither has the best interests of the actual people in mind.

Fuck both sides. Let’s get back to it.

I’m taking this from The Progressive Promise, which is a platform statement from the House of Representatives. Unfortunately, like all platform statements, what it says doesn’t stand up in actual reality. Yes, I know that this is not what all progressives believe and that it is being stated in the most attractive way possible to attract people to vote for them, but still, this is why I cannot stand any of these positions.

Challenging harmful stereotypes and efforts that demonize immigrant, Black, Brown, indigenous, and LGBGTQ communities and actively opposing any legislation or policy that marginalizes those communities.

You’re the ones doing it! This is the part that is so ludicrous on its face. The ones who are perpetuating harmful stereotypes ARE the far left! They’re the ones saying that minorities can never get anywhere on their own! They must always be protected by their white saviors! They can’t be held responsible for being a productive member of society. They’re all victims! Everyone else is holding them down! Women can’t just be equal, they have to be better! Nobody can do what they want to do, they have to fit into whatever “standards” the left feels they get to impose. You have to be the person that the left wants you to be.

You know what we call that? Racism. Sexism. That’s what the leftists are!

They have been trying for decades to get more women into STEM fields. There has been pressure applied that if you’re a “good feminist”, you’ll go learn things that you don’t want to learn and do things that you don’t want to do in the name of “equity”. It has failed miserably. Women don’t want to go into STEM. They could if they wanted, they don’t want to! So much for individual autonomy, right?

That word is just a dodge for the left. They don’t want people to have autonomy. They want people to do what the left tells them to do. If a woman wants to stay at home and raise her children, she’s insulted by the left, just as much as if she wants to go out and work, she’s insulted by a lot of people on the right. Can we stop insulting people and just leave them alone? The left tells black people not to work. They deserve reparations for things that never happened to them! There’s racism inherent in the system! Help! Help! They’re being repressed! Stay home on the couch and receive a check! Anyone who gets out there and puts in an honest day’s work is an Uncle Tom!

Can you understand where the problems really lie? It’s not with reality, it’s with the left wing’s political ideology. Screw these idiots.
