I just keep running into these things and it’s bizarre how people can’t see that their own side is doing all of this too. It doesn’t matter if you’re talking about the left, whining about the right or vice versa, both extremes are doing the same damn  thing and can’t see what they’re doing in the mirror.

I’ll keep this one short, it’s just another example, but let’s talk about it.

Now this requires a little setup. About a year ago, they brought G4TV back, the gaming network that went under back in 2014. By the time it died, it really deserved it. From what I remember, and I wasn’t paying a lot of attention at the time, they spent more time talking about the sex lives of their hosts at the end than they did about legitimate gaming. When it went under, it was a good thing because it wasn’t doing anyone any good.

In 2021, they announce it was coming back. No clue why, since that style of television really didn’t exist anymore, but Adam Sessler and some of the other people from the old days were relaunching. I didn’t have much hope of it sticking around for long, but as it turned out, it was worse than anyone ever imagined.

Nearly immediately,  the woke culture bullshit started to be aired and, hysterically, they started to say, publicly, that if you didn’t like it, you shouldn’t watch. Therefore, the whole thing died because everyone said “screw you”. There were huge rounds of lay-offs and recently, Comcast, who owned the channel, shut them down entirely. They got exactly what they deserved. It’s a shame that some good people probably got caught in the torrent as G4 rode the wave into the ground, but that kind of thing happens.

Of course, there are a lot of right-wing media pundits that have been laughing at this the whole time. I catch some of them, occasionally, just to keep up, and I agree, the hard left G4 screwed the pooch and got exactly what it deserved. Hopefully, people like Adam Sessler and Frosk never get a job in “television” ever again because they’re just laughably bad at it. In fact, just watching the two of them making utter fools of themselves on Twitter right now is entertainment in and of itself.

However, this brings up the same kind of hypocrisy that I see among the left, this time though, it’s among the right. So first, here’s the video that made me want to write about it, feel free to watch it. I’ll still be here when you get back.

He spends a lot of time talking about the left trying to be perpetual victims. You know who perfected that? Christians. Certainly, other religions are in the same ballpark, but I think Christianity has led the way, whining about how mistreated they are when they still represent the majority of Americans, at least for the moment. They want special treatment and when they don’t get it, there’s a sudden “war on Christianity” going on that they can whine about.

This happens on both sides. When the left was whining about the January 2021 “attack” on the Capitol, they entirely ignored their own side holding entire cities hostage for months on end and causing billions of dollars in damage. Now I don’t support either of them, it’s just bizarre how short their memories are. In a video coming up, I make the point that the left has been complaining that people are saying Biden isn’t their president, yet they apparently can’t remember the tons of people on their own side who did that over Trump. Hell, they created Not My President Day! They just don’t want to talk about that.

This is really why both extremes are bad and both extremes are hypocrites. It’s time we stopped pointing fingers without looking at what’s happening over on our own side. What’s good for the goose is good for the gander and we don’t play favorites on political and religious lines. It’s time to knock that crap the hell off. Who’s with me?
