This is What Bugs Me

So I just got done watching a TimCast video, where formerly centrist Tim Pool has gone entirely right-wing lunatic. It was a video where they were talking about the recent Bud Light controversy, where Budweiser decided to cater to transgender activist Dylan Mulvaney and all kinds of shit hit the fan.

Fine, whatever. It was a poor choice on their part and their stock value crashed $5 billion dollars in a week. It’s not like I drink beer anyhow, I don’t care.

It’s just that they keep pushing this as a quasi-religious issue that drives me crazy. Continue reading This is What Bugs Me

Here Comes Another One!

It’s really sad how many examples of this I can come up with, but Rationality Rules does it again. The video is linked below, it’s long, so you can watch it or not at your leisure, but it’s just one more place where you get a leftist who points at the Christian, accuses them of being wrong and then goes on to do the exact same thing on their own side.

Why are we never surprised by this? Continue reading Here Comes Another One!

This just Reinforces my Views on Assisted Suicide

My mother died last night.

We’d been expecting it for a long time and frankly, it’s a relief that she’s gone. She was diagnosed with stage 3 inoperable cancer two and a half years ago, along with a host of other failures, and had been in bed in a home ever since. She was never going to recover.

This is why I am so absolutely convinced that assisted suicide is essential. Continue reading This just Reinforces my Views on Assisted Suicide

They Keep Making My Point

So this showed up on Reddit multiple times yesterday and the second it popped up, the second that I saw it, the wheels started to turn because what you see here, we see it in a lot of places these days entirely beyond religion.

Yes, this is another case where the political left are doing the exact same thing as the religious right. Why is that not a surprise? Continue reading They Keep Making My Point

Two Lessons Learned in the Emergency Room

So last night, we rushed our youngest daughter to the emergency room. Don’t worry, she’s fine. It was a gigantic exercise in futility anyhow and we wound up walking out because they were completely incompetent. That’s not the story though, because while we were there, I got to see two things going on.

Neither of them are things that anyone ought to be proud of. Continue reading Two Lessons Learned in the Emergency Room

If You Don’t Want to Know, Don’t Ask!

It’s an old joke to be sure. “Am I fat?” You’re not supposed to be honest and say yes, yet if that’s the truthful answer, why wouldn’t you? You’re not saying it maliciously, you’re trying to save someone you care about from an uncomfortable fact when they still have time to do something about it.

At least that’s how I’ve always looked at it. Yet today, the world has gone entirely off of the rails and there are plenty of people who are only looking for validation from strangers and they don’t want the honest truth.

Well, too bad. Continue reading If You Don’t Want to Know, Don’t Ask!

I Agree with J.K. Rowling!

It isn’t often that I agree with anyone on the left, but here, I do. It’s been a couple of years now, since the whining leftist mob has been trying to end support for Hogwarts Legacy, just because J.K. Rowling said something they didn’t like. She agrees with 99,9999% of everything else the far-left says, it’s just on this single issue that she happens to agree with the overwhelming majority of everyone else.

There’s actually a biological difference between men and women. Imagine that! Continue reading I Agree with J.K. Rowling!
