You’re Not Special!

I just had this bizarre conversation with a theist who simply couldn’t deal with reality. That’s a common problem, I know, but this guy  (or gal, no clue) really illustrates why the religious have so many problems. They simply cannot handle reality as it actually is. They have to invent nonsense to comfort their childish feelings.

That’s absolutely pathetic. Continue reading You’re Not Special!

I’m Doomed!

I know it was a complete waste of time, but I went looking for “most rational modern Christian apologist” on Google and I’m really depressed at what I found. I had to add in “modern” because without it, all you get are old dead dudes from the Middle Ages or before, and it’s really sad that those are considered the best Christian apologists of all time.

I find them all laughable. But let’s look at who Christians think are actually good modern apologists. It’s not a pretty picture. Continue reading I’m Doomed!

No Time for Bullshit

As I’ve gotten older, I’ve lost all respect for bullshit. I don’t put up with it anymore. I’ve got more important things to do. Nowhere is this more true than in discussions online, where people will just throw crap at the wall and hope it sticks and when it doesn’t, they just make excuses.

I’ve got no interest in your excuses. I care about your evidence. Put up or shut up. I’m not going to try to educate you. If you’re that dumb, go away. I have zero interest in engaging with idiots. Continue reading No Time for Bullshit

What Do I Want?

I’ve  been on a years-long search for any religious apologist, theologian, or just a believer worth a damn and so far, I haven’t found it. I’ve brought this up in many videos and occasionally, I have questions about it.

I don’t know that I’ve ever really spelled it out, exactly what it is that I’m looking for. Therefore, I’m going to try to do that today, at least to give people a place to look if they have questions. Continue reading What Do I Want?

They Still Can’t Look in the Mirror

This is probably going to be a quick one because I don’t think I have to say much about it. This comes from a video over on Paulogia’s channel, where Seth Andrews makes a point at the very beginning and then it launches into a discussion.

Unfortunately, if you just change “Christian Nationalist” to “progressive” in his statement, it still means the same thing. So I’m going to link to the video below and will quote what Seth said, but it’s amazing just how self-unaware these people are. They’re all doing the exact same things! Continue reading They Still Can’t Look in the Mirror

That Doesn’t Make it Better!

There was a recent call over on The Line from a woman named Angel in Ireland and while the call wandered around a lot, there were two points that I wanted to touch on. First, she asked if every religion in the world became “extremely progressive” overnight, would Matt and Jimmy still fight against them, and secondly, when talking about skepticism, she kept insisting that she was open-minded, as if they were the same thing.

They are not. Matt and Jimmy gave their answers, but I’m going to give mine. Continue reading That Doesn’t Make it Better!

Leftist Atheists Can’t Figure it Out

I keep running into this and I’ve been rolling my eyes so hard that I’m surprised they haven’t rolled right out of my head. I just keep seeing it in a lot of atheist videos I watch, where the atheist will criticize the religious for doing a thing, then turn right around and do that exact same thing with their own political beliefs.

It’s like they can’t look in the mirror, right? Continue reading Leftist Atheists Can’t Figure it Out

This Never Goes Anywhere

So anyhow, this kind of devolved on Reddit, where there was a thread where someone made some claims that atheists were all the same and you could tell a lot of things about atheists, simply because we all had the same “atheist worldview”.
It didn’t go well, as you can imagine. This has kind of turned into one theist completely discrediting everything that he claimed and everyone else laughing at him. He said that he could tell me details about what I did or what I supported, just based on the fact that I was an atheist. So let’s take a look at some of the selected snippets, since the discussion isn’t done yet, but I wanted to get this down before he invariably deleted his account and ran for the hills.
