Alright, I’m officially tired of this. Companies today are just idiotic. I have a couple of prescriptions with a local pharmacist and I have been getting endlessly harassed because they want to make more money.

FUCK OFF!

This goes back a long time, actually. A couple of years ago, they were refilling, once a month, so that I’d run out at least a couple of days before they could get me more. I complained. They fixed it. Then they went too far the other way. The instant that insurance would pay them, they refilled, which meant that every 3 weeks, I’d get a call. Come pick up more pills!

I did. For a long time, until I had months and months and months of pills just sitting here. Therefore, I went in and had them take it off of automatic refill. They were not happy about it. This monthly automatic cash cow that they had on the line, it was going away!

They were not ready to let it go. Therefore, ever since I did it, and it’s been months now, I get regular calls and texts, saying “you should refill your medications now!” Yesterday, I got a text. “Enter Y for yes or N for no!” There was the “stop” option, which I took. Leave me the hell alone!

So today, I get a call from the pharmacy. “Do you want to refill your meds?” No! I still have months of these damn things sitting in bottles in my drawer! I went off on this bitch. I wasn’t really that nasty, but they deserved it. I took it off auto refill for a reason! If I want it, I’ll let you know! I do not want to be harassed and I have been harassed non-stop because they want some money!

FUCK OFF!

I didn’t say the fuck off part. They said they’d put it in the notes on my account, but they’ve said that before. I expect, in another week or so, it’ll start again. They don’t care about me. They care about the money my insurance is going to pay them.

Maybe I ought to take my business elsewhere. The only reason I don’t is because they are the closest pharmacy to my house. I drive by it every single day. Anything else is going to be inconvenient, but I’m wondering if inconvenience isn’t preferable. Then again, probably nobody else will be any better. They all suck. I’m really sick of it.
