I’ve seen a couple of videos and talked to a couple of people recently which pushed being calm and collected over getting mad at idiot theists.

Sure, that works in a certain subset of cases, but it certainly doesn’t work for all of them. So here’s my thinking on the whole thing.

Now there are plenty of happy, nice, friendly atheists online and that’s fine. They reach a certain number of people who are amenable to having a more-or-less rational discussion. I have no problem whatsoever with them. I’m not a tone troll, which, unfortunately, I wind up dealing with regularly.
